The full-service camping experience...

What does full-service camping really mean?

We will take care of the details so you can focus on the adventure....

  • Arrive. Relax. We'll do the rest. Our team sets up and takes down your tent each day, so camp is always ready upon arrival. Two-person tents or you can opt to have your own tent (with a supplementary charge).

  • Your main kit bag will be transported by ponies, leaving you to just carry your day pack! More energy for the journey, less weight on your shoulders.

  • Camps are by flowing streams - every site is chosen with fresh water nearby - perfect for refilling, refreshing, and maybe even washing after a long day's trek.

  • Delicious meals - three freshly cooked meals a day, served in a dining tent with tables and chairs. Our cook and his team always comply with a high standard of food preparation and hygiene. If you have any particular dietary requirements, we can serve you alternatives to the rest of the group. Breakfast typically includescereal, toast and jam (even nutella and peanut butter too!), eggs and porridge. Lunch and dinner typically include soup to start with, followed by a variety of hot dishes ( both local and Western) such as potatoes, vegtetables, curry, past, rice, dahl and paneer. After dinner, dessert is always served such as tinned fruit and cake.

  • Local stream water will be pre-boiled and cooled for you each evening and morning, ready before you set off on the trail again!

  • Morning comforts - our Wake Up Service! With a choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, our Guide and kitchen assitant will serve you your hot drink in your tent each morning. Plus a bowl of warm water to freshen up before the start of the day!

  • Daily snacks will be given to you each morning before leaving the camp to fuel you on the next leg of your trek.

  • Tea on arrival! When you reach your next camp base, hot drinks and snacks will be served to keep you going until the evening dinner.

  • Toilet tents are provided - no flushing toilet but a hole in the ground in 'a toilet tent' - private enough, away from the main camping area.

This is the what "full service camping" looks like with Tierra Trekking!
